    so whats the cap on the 50M entrants? i have to check with work about getting additional time off, otherwise i'm all in.... just don't want to get shut out for max capacity reasons. hope all is well and happy holidazze!

      The cap is set at 100 but this being our first year we do not expect the race to fill. Keep in mind the price increases at the end of 2012 by $15.00. We hope to see you in April!

    Woo-hoo, my first ultra! I gotta figure out how to prepare for the hills... I live at the beach where the biggest elevation is a 5 foot sand dune!

      Get on a treadmill on incline at the highest setting. Focus on speed hiking it or find a stairmaster. The bigger problem will be the descents! Good luck with the training.
