    Can anyone please give me some information on the terrain/elevation gain for the TARC Summer Classic 50k? I have been thinking of traveling there to see what it is like.

    Hello all,

    I'll be going for a trail run on Saturday 7/19. It's a 8-9 mile loop course, almost 100% trails. It starts from the Route 117 gravel parking lot, start on Mt Misery trail (google Farrar Pond on Mapquest and zoom in north of 117) continues along Sudbury river north then heads due east with a short climb up Emerson cliff trail, then travels south on the trails on the other side of Rt 126. If your interested join me at 6:30 am on Sat 7/19 for I'm guessing 2 loops or 18 miles. It will be probably around 5 miles an hour, with possible stop at Walden Pond water fountain at 5-6 miles.
