Georgia Ultra & Trailrunning Society (GUTS) will be hosting Georgia's first 100 miler on a mixed use trail in the month of March in the northern part of the state of Georgia. The race will be held at Dawson Forrest Wildlife Management Area, located near Dawsonville, GA, 55 miles north of Atlanta. Race headquarters and start/finish lines will be located at the main trail head parking.
The GRR course features a 13-mile section and a 7-mile section, both of which begin and end at the start/finish area. Combined, these two sections make one 20-mile loop. All race distances begin with the 13-mile section. 100-Milers will complete both sections (one full loop) 5 times. 50-Milers will complete both sections twice, and then the 13-mile section one last time. 50K runners will complete both sections once, and then the 13-mile section one last time. Runners will pass the Ram Road Aid Station twice on the 13-mile section, and the Powerline Aid Station once on the 7-mile section. There will also be an aid station at the start/finish area.
