Description
Beautiful Meadowmere Park on Lake Grapevine is minutes from DFW International Airport, centrally located in Texas. All Park fees for participants, and their guest are included with registration; park entry, camping, parking. Step on, and off course camping/personal aid. Fully maintained, and staffed aid station for the duration of all events provides the Ultra communities most knowledgeable, and helpful volunteers.
Plenty of hot, fresh food provided; no personal crew necessary! With shorter events beginning later, fresh feet are always pushing the pace.

First, Second, Third Place men and women are awarded grand commemorative medals in the following age groups 0-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-79,80+
The UltraCentric Gold Rush 24 Hour has been designated the RRCA Texas State Ultra Championship of 2012, additional awards will be presented.
Bullion to Champions
The Men’s and Women’s Champions of the 72/48/24 will each receive a 1 oz. American Eagle Gold Coin; or US dollar value of 1 oz. Gold at market closing price on Friday, November 16th, 2012 as published on www.kitco.com. Also, the Men’s and Women’s Runner-up will receive 16 one ounce Silver American Eagles (1 pound). Also,
Men’s and Women’s Third Place will receive 8 one ounce Silver American Eagles (1/2 pound Silver).
Winners must retrieve award in person during The Champions Brunch, November 18th, 10 am, 2012.
Location
The Ultra Centric has returned to the National Championship course of 2006 and 2007: since 2011, Meadowmere Park, Grapevine, Texas. The 2 mile USATF certification # TX07124ETM loop produced the highest overall finish (men/women combined) in national ultra championship history. http://www.americanultra.org/news/nov2006.html American records have been ratified by Roy Pirrung and Ed Rousseau. Connie Gardner was a mere 105. feet shy of the women’s American 24 hour record.
Timing
Professionally electronically timed by USATF Certified timer. Continuously updated results displayed live with on-site monitors, and via webcast on www.UltraCentric.com.
