Course

The Bootlegger 50K & 25K will take place in Bootleg Canyon, in the desert mountains outside of Boulder City, Nevada. Famous as a mountain biking destination, Bootleg Canyon is also a popular destination for Las Vegas Valley trail runners.  The volcanically formed River Mountains and the views of both Lake Mead and The Las Vegas Strip are a perfect backdrop for this event.

The 50k course consists of two 15 mile loops with a total of 3804' of elevation gain/loss. The 25K is just one loop. The course is very runnable but somewhat technical in places. There will be 7 (3 for the 25K) well-stocked and fully-staffed aid stations spaced no more than 5 miles apart.

The average temperature in Las Vegas for early November are highs in low 70s and lows in the high 40s.  But come prepared for all elements.
