2017 Update, cupless, new AS location!

Hagg Mud goes cupless! Starting this year Hagg Mud will no longer have cups at any aid station for liquids. Every 2017 entrant will receive an UltrAspire silicone cup to use race day and beyond. We feel this is a smart thing to do for the environment and cost.

Washington County has been busy working on the road around Hagg Lake. As a result the Tanner Creek AS no longer exists. We have moved this AS .75 miles down the trail to a location called Fenders Blue. No more mud, no more out in the open, yes to a nice flat place for the AS to be located.

Here are some important dates;
January 10th is the last day to order a long sleeve tech shirt for this years race. Race shirts are no longer included with your registration and must be purchased separately. Race registration will continue up until race day. There is no cap to the number of runners who can run either Saturday or Sunday. Tell your friends and family to sign up!

Training Run Opportunities
January 14, 8:00am - Hagg Lake 8:00am
January 28, Hagg Lake, Trail Work Party 8:00am, everyone who attends gets free parking at the lake.

What a better way to prepare for race day than to run around Hagg Lake! We meet at the large parking lot on the far side of the dam. January 28th we will work to ensure the trail is ready for race day. We meet at the large parking lot on the other side of the dam.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

General Information

Hagg Mud does not provide refunds should you be unable to run on race day. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please know that your race fee is going to a non profit that helps further the sport of running in our community.

Hagg Mud is a running event, this is not a walking event. We understand that walkers would like to participate but we need to keep in mind our volunteers that are working race day. For this reason if you are unable to run Hagg Mud we ask that you not sign up.

The 50K consists of a group start at Boat Ramp C parking area. Runners enjoy a little over 3 miles of an out-and-back on a gravel road. Runners will then head back through the Sain Creek Pavilion. This is when the mud starts. You will run around Hagg Lake counter clockwise 2 times on the single track trail, pass by a 5 aid stations including the start finish, and eventually make your way back for the post race festivities.
