Directions to Start/Finish Line
Go north six blocks on Main Street in Haviland off of US-54, turn right on Elm Street; the race will begin and end in front of the gymnasium. Use the following address if mapping the directions online: 607 N. Kingman, Haviland, KS.
The Half-Marathons starts at 8am and the 5K/10K starts at 9am.
The course will be open to runners and walkers for 1 hour for the 5K (3.1 miles), 2 hours for the 10K (6.2 miles) and 3 hours for the half-marathon (13.1 miles).
The course in and around Haviland will be part pavement, part dirt roads, and even have a cross-country section (and then a country road loop for the second half of the 10K). Half-marathon includes the above course and an added 6.9 mile country road loop.
Course is subject to change. The race will be held regardless of weather.
This event benefits the Run for Missions Scholarship Fund.
All 5K and 10K Finishers will receive a special finishers ribbon.
All Half-Marathon Finishers will receive a custom Finishers Medal (New in 2012).
Awards will be given to the top three males and females in each race. Age division placements will be acknowledged online when the final results are posted. Raffle tickets will be distributed on race day for special drawings during the awards ceremony.
