Enjoy vistas of the Pacific Coast as you take a scenic tour of the spectacular Marin Headlands with views of San
Francisco, Tiburon, the Golden Gate Bridge and California coastline. This PCTR classic-event begins and ends at
Rodeo Beach. You’ll see historic abandoned military batteries reclaimed by nature. December is the end of the of the diurnal
raptor season, with tens of thousands of raptors drawn to the area.

Event Check In/Bibs: 7:30am – 8:15am at the start area at Rodeo Beach.
Time Limits: There is a 9 hour time limit for the 50km run. There is a 2pm cutoff time for starting the 20km loop.
Aid Stations/Drop Bags
We will provide a variety of fresh fruit, salty snacks, salted potatoes, PB&J sandwiches, salt tabs, sugary snacks, Clif Shot bloks, electrolytes sports drink, Coke, and water. Runners in the 50km may leave a drop bag at the 30km aid station with personal needs. In addition, it is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations.
Sport-Tek shirt will be included with registration unless a no shirt option is requested
Sport-Tek: This maximum comfort tee has a roomy, athletic cut and controls sweat. This light weight soft crew neck shirt has short sleeve and comes in both men and women's fit. Men's shirt is crew and the ladies has a V-neckline style.
Patagonia Shirts: Stay dry and cool and get some protection from the sun and salt in silky, lightweight Capilene. It’s quick to wick, ultra breathable and fast to dry. Made from 100% all-recycled polyester with 15 UPF sun protections and Gladiodor natural odor control. When ordering the size, they tend to run small.
Placement awards are given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place female and male finishers overall in each distance. Ribbons are awarded to the

female and male 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finisher in each ten-year age group for each distance. Ultramarathon (50km) finishers will receive a custom event coaster. All distance runner finishers will receive a Rodeo Beach race logo and dated finishers medallion.
