Pajarito Trail Fest

Los Alamos, NM 10K, 15 Miler, Damned Dirty Du Duathlon

All races start at 9am!
Single track trails around Pajarito Mountain and surrounding trails in Santa Fe National Forest
through mixed conifer, aspen forests and mountain meadows at elevation between 9000-10400ft.  Short section goes through area burnt during 2011 Las Conchas fire.

10 Km: Clockwise circumnavigation of Pajarito Mountain,
From the lodge the course heads east to Lower Aspenola Trail and connects to Aspenola Trail going to the top of Aspen Lift. From the top of Aspen Lift, the course turns left onto Muy Loco Trail and then left on a dirt road for a short distance before turning to the "bench" and true summit of Pajarito Mountain. The course connects back to the dirt road at the top of Mother Lift, descends part of ski run (Rim Run) and connects to Aspen For Trouble and then Half Aspen Trails which lead back to the Lodge.

15 Miles:  Same as above plus out & back on Guaje Canyon trail to the Guaje Canyon Overlook. Aid Stations are located at Mile 3 (top of Aspen lift), mile 6 (turn-off to Guaje Canyon Trail) and mile 9 & 11 (Pipeline Road).
Proceeds from the races will benefit the following local non-profit organizations:  Los Alamos Ski Club and Southwest Nordic Ski Club.
This is a cupless race, bring bring your own cups/bottles/hydration backpacks. (There will still be a few cups if you forget!)
