UPDATE
Welcome to the 2012 Mount Laguna Trail Marathon!
Due to permitting
problems many of the details of this race have changed, but we are
excited to announce that the Marathon will go on in 2012!
This years Marathon
will be a FREE, no/low frills run, capped at 60 participants! We will
have aid stations, however they will be not as extravagant as you have
come to expect for races. The course will remain exactly the same; the
trails will be marked and the run will be timed. We will still have
safety sweeps and will enforce all posted cut off times. We will not be
presenting prizes, we will not provide free t-shirts, finisher medals
or any other swag. We will have some hot food available at the finish
line and coffee in the morning, and we welcome you to bring your own
food and beverages and hang out after the run.
If you are
interested in participating in this event please visit the race website, www.runmountlaguna.com, for details on how to register.

Description
The Mount Laguna Trail Marathon, presented by North American Athletics, welcomes you to its inaugural running on November 3, 2012. The course is a single loop of technical single-track trail covering mostly flat or rolling terrain. However, it wouldn't be a trail race without a couple climbs! Runners will meet the most challenging climb of the race at mile 15 as they ascend Mount Laguna and take in the amazing views over-looking the Anza-Borrego Desert.
This race is sure to become one of Southern California's premier trail running events offering finishers amazing race goodies including a high quality technical shirt, a celebratory local craft beer, and delicious, hot post race food. We are also proud to say we have the best, most lively crew of experienced volunteers that will cheer and assist runners as they cruise through this fast and breathtaking trail marathon course.
Please check out the race website for more event details. Thank you and we can't wait to see you on the trails!
