The Course

The course is not determined until just prior to race day, as dictated by trail and weather conditions.  We usually use the horse/snowmobile trails in the area, but may use the Ice Age trail or the Scuppernong hiking/skiing trails in low or no snow years.  Whichever trail is used, the course layout will be multiple loops or out-and-back segments so that participants are never too far from aid.  If you DNF, please notify the aid station and finish line personnel
