The Little Warrior Run 5k is brought to you by local runners and race directing professionals who support the mission and work of Empty Hand Combat and the Empty Hand Warrior youth mentoring program.
Empty Hand Warrior is dedicated to mentoring kids in a Christ-centered environment. We assist in helping develop the child’s mind through his body (martial arts) and by teaching them humility, pride in their community, team-work, and self-worth. Empty Hand Combat provides kids with a little to no cost opportunity to stay out of gangs and away from drugs. We help to build confidence in kids so they can remain gang and drug free and offer opportunities for people in the community to sponsor kids.
Proceeds from the Little Warrior Run benefit the mentoring program and help us sponsor kids who can’t afford to pay. Visit our Empty Hand Combat website to see more about our program.
