Description
Mt Spokane rises abruptly above the vast Spokane River Valley, offers 360 degree views of four different states/provinces and at 5,883ft is one of the tallest mountains east of the Cascades in Washington. The mountain itself is surrounded by state park and is the most prominent peak on the southwestern side of the Selkirk Mountain Range which runs more than 300 miles to the north. A large network of single track trails and abandoned roads are maintained by the park for use by hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders-- these fun and challenging trails provide a great venue for the race.
