About the race

First of all this is not a road race and we thrive on that. This is meant to transition you roadies to the trails. The course is about 12 miles long. If you come to us with your gps watch we will call you out. This race is about fun not being exactly 13.1 miles. The 10k is about 6 dead on. NEW FOR 2016!!! We will be running 1.5 miles through downtown Helen and running over the Chattahoochee. This means all the local businesses and people will be out cheering for you on the half marathon! This can not be more fun! All runners get a shirt, finishers pint glass and a high five. This is not a road race... There are no mile markers, age group awards or finisher medals $500 cash prize for the best runner voted costume before the race OVerall 1-3 male n female get unique custom awards for both races Male and female 1-3 for the half ONLY will have the following prize $ $300 $200 $100

We are stoked to announce that SweetWater Brewing Company will be sponsoring the event this year!!!
