The Valley Crest Half Marathon, known as "The Friendliest Race in L.A.", is a hilly mountain half-marathon on historic Mulholland fire road that treats runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley. The race is run in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. The course is entirely on county-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles making is a great first-timer trail run! The Valley Crest is an RRCA State Championship Race that offers $300 cash to the male/female open champions and awards 3-deep in 5-year age divisions; 14th annual. *Note: This event is run on a hilly trail course and is open to runners 14 years of age and older

Valley Crest 10K
Hot on the heels of the ever popular "Valley Crest Half Marathon, we are pleased to announce the "Valley Crest 10K". The two races will run simultaneously and will have staggered starting times. While the half-marthoners are headed west on Mulholland fire road, the 10K runners will run the back half of the half marathon race course, to Nike fire gate and back, with one aid/water station at the Nike gate. The course is a little longish, about 6.6 miles which means you get more bang for your buck. We are excited to have you have you help us kick off this great new event! *Note: This event is run on a hilly trail course and is open to runners 14 years of age and older.
