We have a lot of event options this year. Make sure you are checking the start times and signing up for the race you intend to!
You were always looking for a timed race without pavement hurting your feet; at the Pickled Feet Runs, you can enjoy nature while running on a beautiful 2.5 mile flat dirt trail loop bordering the Boise River and Eagle Island pond. All races use the same 2.5 mile loop, including the 100 mile (40 laps). The course is USATF measured and certified in two loops: the main loop is 2.5 miles. The "finishing" loop is .19 miles on a separate asphalt loop around the beach area. The course will be well-marked with flagging and stakes to ensure that everyone is running the proper certified distance.
The Pickled Feet 48/24/12/6 Hour Runs is a beautiful and flat fixed-time race held at Eagle Island State Park, 8 miles west of Boise, Idaho. Test yourself against the clock and some of the northwest's top timed event runners at Idaho's premier timed race on a 2.5 mile flat, dirt trail. Set a goal and achieve it, running as many miles as you can in 48, 24, 12, or 6 hours. Or, sign up for the 100 mile fixed-distance option! **NEW FOR 2014: 48 Hour Events!!**

Relay Runner Volunteer Requirement
Each relay must furnish volunteers (one or two) to fill a minimum 8 hours (can be one 8 hour shift or two different 4 hour shifts during the race. Once you have registered, please have your designated volunteer fill out the form on the volunteer page so that we have all their information and can contact them with specifics about their volunteer spot. There is a spot on the form for volunteers to pick their own time frame. Thank you!

48 Hour Relay
How to Sign Up as a Relay
Captains will sign up their team through Ultrasignup and pay the entire team fee at once. Following the captain’s registration, each team member will receive a link to register for no additional charge.
Captains, when you sign up, you will be asked for:
The name of your relay team.
The contact information (name and email) for the volunteer you are providing for the event.
What division you are entering (men only, women only, co-ed; and if you also in the Heroes category)
Full payment for your team.
All race participants will get a t-shirt (update 2/20/14: maybe something other than a shirt, but nonetheless a cool apparel item) and be entered in a raffle provided by our sponsors. The nice thing about a timed event is that there are no DNFs!
Local time: 8:20 AM
Overall winners (top 3) for each race will receive prizes. Overall man and woman in the timed events will also be crowned Idaho State Champion.
One of the things that makes this race special is that runners who achieve certain mileage milestones will also receive a special post-race award, which will be personalized and made available after the race. Anyone running 100 miles or more has the choice between a buckle and an apparel item (to be decided at the time of registration; default is a buckle).
