Emory Corwine Memorial Ruck Race
The ruck race is a relay race where 5 participants will each complete one of 5 legs ,carrying a minimum 35lb pack/ruck for males and 25lb for females, over the same course as the ultra. This race event is to honor an Air Force SERE Specialist, Emory Corwine. Emory passed away in an motorcycle accident in Airway Heights, WA on his way to perform flag duty one early morning in June 2012. Emory was an amazing person. He was the guy you wanted your daughter to date and the leader we all wanted to be. He loved pushing himself and was always making others around him better. This race represents pain, and he would've loved it.
Local time: 7:30 AM
All proceeds from both races will go to "That Others May Live Foundation."
