Emory Corwine Memorial Ruck Race

Training to fast pack, go farther on your next hunt!?! Then this is the race for you!!! The ruck/pack race is a relay race where 1-5 participants will complete one of 5 legs ,carrying a minimum 35lb pack/ruck for males and 25lb for females packed with non-perishables food items. The ruck racers travel over the same course as the ultra. If you can hike a 24 min per mile pace then you can do this event! Ruck racers have a 20hr time limit to complete the course but the course record for the ruck was set last year at just over 10 hours!! If the overall title isn't your flavor then we have numerous divisions for competition; Overall 1-3, Co-Ed 1-3 , Female 1-3, Masters 1-3, Best Team Outfits, Best Team Baton, & of course the Toilet Seat Award which is awarded to the last place team. The toilet seat features a quote from the infamous Ricky Bobby which states, "If your not first, you're last!" The 2017 event will be the first time we have had solo participants in the ruck race. That is the ultimate challenge!! This race event is to honor an Air Force SERE Specialist, Emory Corwine. Emory passed away in an motorcycle accident in Airway Heights, WA on his way to perform flag duty one early morning in June 2012. Emory was an amazing person. He was the guy you wanted your daughter to date and the leader we all wanted to be. He loved pushing himself and was always making others around him better. This race represents pain, and he would've loved it.

All proceeds from this event will go to the SERE Association. The SERE Association brings together Past, Present & future SERE community members & provides scholarships & emergency funds to military personnel in need. The event has also donated just under 3,000lbs of food to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank in Spokane.

This year we are offering discount codes for 1-4 person ruck teams. Discount codes are as follows:

Solo Ruck: SOLORUCK (60%)
Two Person Ruck: TWORUCK (40%)
Three Person Ruck: THREERUCK (30%
Four Person Ruck: FOURRUCK (15%)

The only thing we will require on race day (unless you're doing it solo) is to name who will be completing which leg for accountability. Any questions can be answered at
