Marathon
The Marathon is 26 miles north of downtown Colorado Springs. Runners will run on the American Discovery Trail (Santa Fe Trail) south, starting in Palmer Lake and finishing at America the Beautiful Park. The altitude gradually drops along the trail, starting at 7,225 feet, and ending around 6,040 feet at America the Beautiful Park. The trail is mostly packed dirt, however there are short sections of asphalt and concrete.
Half Marathon
The certified course is an out and back, starting and ending at America the Beautiful Park. The trail is mostly packed dirt, however there are short sections of asphalt and concrete.
Marathon Relay
Start gathering friends and coworkers for a fun team event. The course will follow the marathon. Relay runners will run south on the American Discovery Trail (Santa Fe Trail) to the scheduled transition, with the final runner finishing in America the Beautiful Park. The altitude gradually drops along the trail, starting at 7,225 feet, and ending around 6,040 feet at America the Beautiful Park. The trail is mostly packed dirt; however, there are short sections of asphalt and concrete.
Kids Run
Kids will have the opportunity to participate in a one mile fun run or a toddler run
