Race Information

Choose between the 100-mile, 55K, and numerous relay options. Run the Arizona Trail from Flagstaff, Arizona to the gateway of the Grand Canyon. Follow the historic stagecoach line tourists first took to reach the Grand Canyon in the 1890's. This event is a fundraiser for the Arizona Trail Association.  There is a 30-hour cut-off.  The course varies from single track to two-track and forest roads. Expansive ponderosa pine forests, sparsely vegetated pinion-juniper grasslands, and golden leafed alpine aspen stands await. The course starts near 7,500 feet, reaches a maximum elevation of 8,500 feet, finishes at 6,600 feet, and has approximately 7,000 feet of climbing.
