This Event Took Place Sat. May 17, 2014

IMAGINE A LIFE WITHOUT FOOD!!

Imagine a life without food! That is a reality for 9 year old Carter. He was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis, a rare autoimmune white blood cell GI disorder, in Jan 2011. In May 2011, ALL food was removed from Carter's diet. Carter now gets his nutrition from a special medical formula through a Gtube. Carter has trialed many foods, all of which his body has rejected, causing severe damage to his esophagus. Carter was also diagnosed with Gastroparesis in May 2012, a condition where your stomach muscles are paralyzed and do not process the food properly into the small intestine. Carter is still searching for a safe food for him to eat; currently he has none. He has a long road ahead of him and could use all the support he can get. IMAGINE A LIFE WITHOUT FOOD!
