G.O.A.T.z Gravel Classic 30k and 60k
Saturday, May 24, 2014
Race starts at 8:00 am
Hosted by Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch

Inspired by gravel foot races staged all across the US, the G.O.A.T.z Gravel Classic is designed to be a fully self-supported “no-entry-fee” race that will test its participants on the gravel back roads of Washington County.

No swag bags, no chip timing, no medals, no frills! It’s just you and the country roads.

Zip. Zero. Nada…. You heard right. This race is 100% free. It won’t cost you one thin dime, if you so choose.

With that said, we as GOATz want to sponsor the local communities we run in by giving back to those who support our mission. We are giving you the opportunity to support the local Blair chapter Future Farmers of America. We will be accepting donations on race day and the GOATz will match up to $500, with all donations to be given to the Blair chapter FFA.

Again, this is a “no-entry-fee” race and you are under no obligation to pay. But we also know that GOATz are extremely generous people and we believe many of you will want to give back in some way. That is why we are giving you an opportunity to donate to a local organization.

The course start and finish will be at Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch.

Their address is: 3935 Hwy 133, Blair, NE 68008

The course is a 30 kilometer loop on the gravel back roads of Washington County. For those interested in the 60k, you will run the loop twice. Some may notice from the map below that the course is a bit short. Runners will do a small dirt trail loop on Skinny Bone's property before heading out on the gravel roads to complete their 30k.

Please keep in mind this is a self-supported run. We will provide 2-3 unmanned water stations along the course. We will set aside some space around the start/finish area for a drop bag, for those interested in doing the 60k.

Local time: 5:22 AM
