About the event
The Homewood Mountain Run is a 10K race that will be hosted in conjunction with the Tahoe200. The run will take place on Sunday, September 7th, 2014, at 9:30AM, and is open to runners of all ages and skill levels. Participants will complete a scenic loop that affords breathtaking lake views and a vertical climb of 1800ft from lake level to the summit above Lake Louise, before descending down mountain trails to the finish line atop of the Quail Chair. Following an awards ceremony atop the Quail Chair, runners will be able to take a complimentary scenic ride down the chair lift or descend down the trails on their own.
