2020 Race Cancelled
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Due to the ongoing concerns for safety and the restrictions the Coronavirus pandemic has created, we are unable to produce the 2020 Mountain Lakes 100. An email with registration options was sent to all racers and those on the wait list on June 16th.
Oregon's Prettiest & Best Supported 100-Miler
Mountain Lakes 100 is of the country’s most scenic 100-milers. Starting and finishing at Olallie Lake, and running along more than 25 lakes, this race features the best trail running Oregon has to offer – technical and rocky sections, views of mountain peaks in every direction, and 60 miles of luscious sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. The aid stations and support on the course is outstanding. You'll be greeted by experienced volunteers who are as focused on getting you to the finish as can be.
This race is a Western States 100 qualifier and provides 5 points toward every race of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®
Due to the extreme popularity of this event and the smaller capacity, it is a lottery. You can enter the lottery January 20-25, 2020. The drawing is on January 26th. One hundred seventy names are randomly selected from all entrants to race. The remaining registrants are placed on a wait list in random order.
If you need to cancel your registration and it’s more than 30 days prior to the race, you will receive a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing race. This credit is equal to half the value of the race you registered for and can be applied to any of our races that aren’t already sold out. You can use this credit within 365 days of it being issued. There is no transferring of this credit. If your cancellation is 30 days or less from race day, there is no credit, no refund, or no transfer. You can read our entire cancellation policy here:
Trail Work Requirement
There is a trail work requirement for this race. All runners must complete 8 hours of trail work between October 1 of the previous year and September 1 of the race year. Details are on the race website.
Go Beyond Racing
This event is produced by Go Beyond Racing. We put on over three dozen trail races a year. You can count on every Go Beyond race to:
Local time: 6:45 AM
- Be highly organized with racer safety and satisfaction as top priorities
- Donate to a worthy beneficiary for each race
- Have well-stocked aid stations and the friendliest, most supportive volunteers
- Challenge and reward each participant
- Put more time, money, and energy than most to reduce, reuse, recycle, and lessen the environmental impact of our events
We look forward to sending you off on the trails and welcoming you across the finish line!
