Description
A serious, hardy test for ultra runners of any level, the RUN FOR THE HEROES - RUN/RIDE ACROSS GEORGIA starts on Fort Stewart, Georgia and transitions thru the coastal plains of middle Georgia at the end of the rolling hills of the Appalachians. The route is a gentle sloping uphill run through the backroads of Georgia and onto Fort Benning, past the National Infantry Museum and finishing in Columbus. Make no mistake: this will be a tough test for any endurance athlete.
