A few details:

There will be late registration and packet pickup available on Saturday evening at the OSU Forestry Cabin at Peavy Arboretum from 2-4pm and on race morning from 7:30-8:30am. Directions to the forestry cabin are on our website.

If you expect to finish the race in over 4 hours, please consider taking the early start at 8:00 am. If you choose the early start, you will not be considered for the overall age group prizes unless all runners in your age group take the early start! If you are a faster runner, please do not take the early start; the first aid station may not be in place.

All three aid stations will have water, GU gels and GU brew.

First place overall male and female winners will receive a pair of Scott running shoes, and a hand crafted ceramic bowl from Earhart Studio of Bend, Oregon. Age group winners will receive a ceramic bowl.

Prior to the start of the race we will have a drawing for additional prizes which include a pair of Scott running shoes, month long memberships to Timberhill Athletic Club, $10 gift certificates to Mazama Brewing, Bikram yoga gift certificates and more.

Philadelphia Adams, licensed massage therapist, will provide massage to interested finishers.

Finally, if you think you will need water before 6.3 miles, please carry a water bottle with you. 1,600 feet of the 2,600 feet of elevation gain in this race takes place during the first 5.5 miles of the race. Home baked cookies, local apples and drinks will be waiting for all finishers.

We are excited to report that the long awaited “Dave’s” trail will begin construction on October 17th. This will be the first of monthly work parties and we are hoping that you will consider coming out to help in building this memorial to our great running friend, Dave “Condor” Bateham. If interested, email Tia at We hope to see you there!

Thank you for supporting this event.

We look forward to sharing a fun morning of running with all of you!

In memory of Dave 'Condor' Bateham.
