Description
The Mill Stone Loop is a 10.5 mile trail race using one loop of the course used for the Mill Stone 50K.
Awards
There are none. No finisher medals,overall or age group awards. No shirts. You will get a timed race with an aid station and standard race food at the finish. Plus, the knowledge that you have completed a tough course in what will most like be hot conditions.
Directions
The Rush Pavilion can be reached through the Nature Center entrance to the ASC Greenway.
From I-77, take Exit 85 and follow Hwy. 160 east towards Fort Mill. After less than a mile, take a left at the stop light at Hwy. 21 and go two miles until you see the Greenway entrance on the right. There are ASC Greenway direction signs at the turn. The attendant at the gate will direct you to the Rush Pavilion.

I suggest that you do not use your GPS to find the race location. There are several entrances and entering the ASC Greenway in your GPS will almost definitely take you to the wrong entrance.
Mill Stone Trail Race Series
The Mill Stone Loop, along with both the Mill Stone Half Marathon and the 8K races, and the Mill Stone 50K are part of the Mill Stone Trail Race Series. Series standings are based on the Ultrasignup result scoring. There are cash prizes for overall and masters winners, and awards for age group winners. All winners receive race entries to future series events.
