Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series

The Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series was created to allow runners throughout Southern Nevada the opportunity to compete in races of all distances under the glittering stars of Sin City, Nevada. With nightly themed races in June, July and August, runners are able to escape the scorching summer heat and experience the magical effects of running through the desert night. Produced by Vegas-based Beyond Limits Running, the same company that produces the well known Jackpot Ultra Running Festival and other endurance races throughout the Southwest, the Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series is designed to offer an exceptional running experience to runners of all abilities.

Every race in the series offers a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, marathon and an ultra. With races occurring at three different venues across Sin City, pick your favorite event (Twilight & Beyond, Nocturnal Sins and/or Beyond Black & Back) and come experience the joys of night running. Better yet, run at least two of the three races and you will receive a special edition Beyond Hallucinations pub glass to enjoy your favorite nightly beverage. Nocturnal Sins

Nocturnal Sins is the second of three races in the Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series, offering the following races: 5K, 10K, half-marathon, marathon and 50K. All races are run on an approximate 3.1-3.3 mile course located within Heritage Park. Opened in 2012, Heritage Park is the Las Vegas Valley's largest sports complex park, occupying 160 acres. Tucked away in southeast Henderson, Heritage Park offers stunning views of the fabulous Las Vegas strip, especially at night time. The course, which has been expertly crafted to offer glittering strip views throughout half the race, travels the circumference of the park on an almost entirely asphalt path with proximity lighting, while also cutting through the entire park along a desert landscaped crushed gravel path. With only 101 feet of elevation gain/loss per 3.1-3.3 mile loop, the course is ideally suited for beginners, or those wanting to set a new PR at distances ranging from a 5K to an 50K.

Every runner will receive a colorful Nocturnal Sins finisher's medal, a Hallucination Runs logo-ed pocket LED flashlight, Hallucination Runs logo-ed lip balm, Beyond Limits Running glow tattoo, and be invited to participate in a finish line party with food, drinks and entertainment.
