About the event

TPK Expedition ONE is a non-stop multi sport solo race. You will have only 12 or 24 hours to navigate an unknown distance in the desert while completing a range of physically demanding challenges and mental puzzles along the way. With keeping close to the TPK traditions expect running, rucking, getting lost, collecting memories, heavy shit and no fucking sleep. We are also adding mountain biking and a few other surprises. We are expecting to see a highly competitive field but the real competition will be the one between you and the course.

Additional Information

What to expect??
The event area has over 50 miles of multi-use trails that you be navigating by foot and mountain bike. A good portion of the event you will need to figure the best trails to use to get to the various check points. At the check points you will need to complete the challenge(s) in order to move on. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification and/or DNF. The trails are well established with signs to let you know the names of the trails. Other than that there will be very little to zero additional course markings. It will be up to you to make sure you stay the course. The good news is that there will be maps, just make sure you know how to read them, how to use a compass and be able to plot your checkpoints. Expect 3-4 time cut-offs throughout the event and those times will be made clear in the competitor's guide. The competitor's guide wil be released one month prior to the race.
