Team Red, White, & Blue New Year’s Eve Ultramarathon

Welcome to Team Red, White, & Blue New Year’s Eve Ultramarathon 6, 12, and 24 Hour Race.

For those of us who are planning on sticking around the Southeast for the remainder of 2019 and who just might want to run in the New Year rather than ring it in, this is the race for you. We have put together a timed event which will take place at Stewart-Watson Field on Fort Benning, GA starting at 8am on December 31st 2019 and ending at 8am on January 1st, 2020

Besides the 24 hour option, the race will also have 12 hour and 6 hour options. The 12 Hour options will start on December 31st at 8am and 8pm. The 6 Hour options will start on December 31st at 8am, 2pm, 8pm, and January 1st at 2am.

The course is a certified .996 crushed gravel loop, which runs around Stewart-Watson Field at Fort Benning, GA. We will have a full aid-station set up near the start and finish line. There is also plenty of room to set up a personal aid station and tent along the course. The running track at Stewart field is a fine grained gravel path, one mile in length with very little elevation change, 12 to 16 feet in width. The track is partially shaded during the day and fully lit at night. Runners, crew, and spectators may setup/laydown their gear on the field on the inside of the track.

Smith Gym, which is just a short walk from the course, will be open during the day in case you would like a shower or the use of a proper bathroom. We will also have porta johns set up near the fully stocked aid-station.
