Scenic historic trails through the Sierra National Forest. The 50k run takes you past 3000 year old Giant Sequoias in the famous Nelder Grove. The brand new 20k run course takes you on many of the same trails as the gorgeous 50k course. Elevation is 5,000 - 6,500 ft. Time limit for 50k: 8 hours. Pets are not allowed on the trail, so please leave your doggies at home!

Lodging Info: For $35 a person you can stay at Green Meadows Outdoor School which has barracks style facility with bunk beds. Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. There are men's and women's bathrooms with showers located a few yards from the dorms. Check in will start roughly around 3pm on Friday June 7th & checkout on Saturday June 8th shortly after the race. Please be respectful of the other people in the room. If you need more privacy Oakhurst, Ca has plenty of great places to stay, along with restaurants, grocery stores, Starbucks, etc.
Pre race dinner: On Friday evening around 5-5:30pm there is wonderful lasagna (meat & no meat options) dinner with salad, bread rolls, and drinks for $20. We are also hoping to show a short film during dinner. This dinner is open to friends and family not just runners or those staying at Green Meadows. This is also a chance to meet the legendary Big Baz who started Shadow of the Giants back in 1990.
Bib Pickup: Friday June 7th from 5-7pm; Saturday June 8th from 0515-0650am in the Cafeteria
Race Start Times: 0700am for the 50k (early start is 0600) 0715 for the 20k fun run
Aid Stations: are roughly 5 miles apart and will have- Water, GU Brew, Coca Cola, salty foods, and various snacks.
Cutoff: 8 hours for the 50k
Pacers are not allowed. Pets are also not allowed at Green Meadows Outdoor School
Parking: Is very limited PLEASE CARPOOL.
Awards: 50k Top 3 Male & Female then top 3 in 10 year age groups. No awards for the 20k it is a Fun Run!
