50/50 dirt roads, awesome single track, very hilly, challenging, great trainer for western states, oak trees, exposure, good heat training, enjoy panoramic vistas.

Four fully stocked aid stations

The park is located off McKean Rd. Traveling to the park, from central San Jose, take Almaden Expressway south. Turn right onto Harry Road, then left onto McKean Road. The park is 3 1/2 miles south of Harry Road on the right past Calero reservoir.

Traveling to the park from 101, exit Bailey Avenue and head west until you reach McKean Road. Turn left onto McKean Road. Calero Park entrance is on right side 1/2 mile.

Pre-registered runners will receive a shirt. Food will be served to runners after the event.
