Course
The trail around the lake is 9.7 miles in length. The trail will be run counter clockwise around Jenkinson Lake from the boat ramp area(right turn right after going through gate house). It will run along lake before going onto 2 small sections of road(across the 2 lake spillways-run on shoulder). You will be running into traffic so watch for cars as their are a couple of 50+ yard sections without any shoulder. The course will than run on the hiking trails on South side of Lake. Upon leaving Hazel Creek Aid Station(mile 3.9) the trail crosses the park road where you will than run on horse trails(Miwok aid station at mile 8) until you cross the road(near park entrance) and continue on hiking trails until you enter the start/finish/aid station(mile 9.7)
Aid Stations
Provided approximately every 4 miles, well stocked with HEED, water, Coke, chips, cookies, potatoes, Hammergel, E-caps, bars, candy, P&J's. Restrooms located at start/finish/aid station.
Post Race
The Jenkinson Lake Trail Run will have a Post Race BBQ Buffet after the event. It will consist of Hamburgers(& Veggie Burgers), Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, green salad, dessert, and more.
