24 Hour Tag Team Championship Is Back!
24 Hour Tag Team Championship! Two person team. Only one team member on the course at a time. No Pacers. Team with the most miles in the 24 hours becomes the Tag Team Champions and earns the Tag Team Championship Belts!
New Event Added to the 2024 lineup!
1 Hour Cub Run: A fun run for children ages 5-12 and ran on a .25 mile loop. Start time is 4:30pm on Friday, April 19th and will conclude at 5:30pm
Overview
The 24 Hour Lions Roar is a 6/12/24 hour run, with the newly added 24 Hour Tag Team Championship, that helps raise important needed funds for Pascale's Pals, a local volunteer organization that benefits the children and families staying at the Children's Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The 2024 running of this event will take place on the Cross Country Championship Course, that was just awarded the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championship, and adjacent soccer fields at Gans Creek Recreation Area and will be a 2.5 mile grass loop
Starting time for 24 hour and Tag Team - 6pm, April 19, 2024
Starting time for 12 hour - 6am, April 20, 2024
Starting time for 6 hour - 12pm, April 20, 2024
Ending time for all events - 6pm, April 20, 2024
Awards Ceremony will be at 6:30pm, April 20, 2024
Awards will be awarded to the following:
Men 6/12/24 Hour Solo – 1st & 2nd
Women 6/12/24 Hour Solo – 1st & 2nd
Custom Championship Belts will be awarded to each member of the winning team in the Tag Team event
Custom Belt Buckle for those completing 100 miles within the 24 hour event.
Custom t-shirt for those runners completing the distance of 100 miles,100k, 50 miles and 50k(31 miles)
