Description:

The Buffalo Stampede & Migration both start and finish at Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California. The flat, fast, certified, and scenic course is on wide, paved and shaded streets in the upscale neighborhoods of East Sacramento.

Race Day Schedule:

Sunday, September 12, 2010 - Rio Americano High School
6:15am-7:45am - Late Registration & Packet Pickup
7:00am - Migration 10 Mile Run/Walk Start*
8:00am - Stampede 10 Mile Race Start**
8:30am - Free Kids 1/2 mile Fun Run at the Rio Americano HS Track
10:00am - 10 Mile Stampede Awards Ceremony.
10:30am - Course officially closes

*Migration is for people with a pace over 10 minutes a mile
**Stampede Racers will not be eligible for awards with a 7:00 AM start.

Fees:

$35 until Aug 15th
$40 until Sept. 4th
$45 until Sept. 11th (Online Registration closes on Wednesday September 8th)
$50 on Race Day

From Highway 50 take Watt Ave. North.
Take the American River Drive exit, turn right and continue about 1.5 miles east on American River Drive.

From Business 80 and Interstate 80 take Watt Ave. South.
Take the American River Drive exit, turn left and continue about 1.5 miles east on American River Drive.

Parking is available at the school at no charge.
