About Stevenson Cross Country...

You will not find a better group of kids than the ones that run the roads and trails of Skamania County.

In 2014, with the help of community members and race participants like you, 22 high school and middle students ran as members of the first Bulldog XC team in 15 years. In 2015, that number grew to include our first ever middle school girls team, our first middle school boy participants, and a growing high school program that continues to cultivate a love for the best sport in the world.

Through our fundraising efforts, we have been able to purchase jerseys, a travel canopy, and provide technical shirts for all of our athletes while beginning a tradition of community outreach and volunteerism that benefits the kids and those around them. This year we hope to raise funds for team warm ups and provide basic training essentials such as shoes for runners within our program with financial hardship.

We hope to see you on the course...

About the Race

3rd Annual Fundraiser for the Stevenson High School Cross Country Team! Travel along the majestic riverside trails of Strawberry Island while taking in some of the most awe inspiring geological eye candy ever created. The race starts on the quaint paved pathways of the town of North Bonneville, WA before transitioning into well manicured grass trails and gritty terrain that will bring back the nostalgia of cross country courses of yesteryear (before they were all on golf courses). Old meets new when the race makes its way towards the modern marvel of engineering that is Bonneville Dam before doubling back for one last tour of simple mountain living on your way to the final finishing chute. Enjoy the scenery, enjoy the course and enjoy the people as we present what may truly be the last affordable half-marathon in existence. All proceeds go to the expenses incurred keeping a high school cross country program up and running with gear and travel. Did we mention it was cheap?

When: 13.1 starts at 10am.
