Ready to run and party all night?

Trail Run Events is pleased to present the Fool Moon 12/24 Hour Runs at beautiful Lasky Mesa in Upper Las Virgenes Canyon! We are lucky that the inaugural race will fall on the weekend closest to April Fool's Day under a Full Moon!

This is a "run", not a "race"; it's just you against the clock! How many miles can you run?

Race Start Options

12 Hour runners can choose to start at either 10am or 7pm.

Race Site & Course

Perched high above the San Fernando Valley, Lasky Mesa is the historical site of Hollywood filmmaking, from the memorable scenes made famous in "Gone With The Wind" to the more recent "Django Unchained".

Runners will enjoy beautiful canyon and valley views by day and twinkling night lights of the "Valley" as they traverse around the Mary Wisebrock Trail. This runner-friendly course is a slightly graded with 84 ft. of elevation gain and loss per 1.8-mile loop. Runners will have access to set up their mini-pit-stop along the race course and/or be able to access the fully stocked aid station that will offer all the usual 24-hour race foods.

Runners will reverse directions every 4-hours.

You can run straight through the night or you can take sleeping breaks as needed.

24-Hour is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. 12-Hour will begin at 7:00 p.m. so everyone will be running under the "Fool Moon"!

Amenities

Race features include customized technical shirts, personalized finisher awards, and camping/crew access to the race course. All runners who achieve the 100-mile mark will receive the customized 100-mile Fool Moon belt buckle.
