The BOO Run is now Virtual
Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to hold the BOO Run for DSA as planned at Red Mountain Park. Due to a number of issues, primarily COVID 19, we will not be able to have the 2020 BOO Run as a "Real Race."
The race will be Virtual 5K, 10K and 1 Mile BOO Run.
What does that mean? Instead of running at Red Mountain Park, you may run the race anywhere you choose. You may start any time you wish on Saturday, October 24th or Sunday, October 25th. You can measure you course with a GPS, with a car, bicycle or any other way you choose. Time your run and post your time and distance on Ultrasignup. You may run solo or as a group. You may also run at Red Mountain Park if you like. It's all up to you.
Individuals with Down syndrome run FREE
Be sure individuals with Down's syndrome register on Ultrasignup by October 23rd so they receive a race shirt. Also, individuals with Down syndrome may run any distance at no charge. Simply selecting the desired distance, then choose "DS Individuals" under that distance.
About the BOO Run for DSA
100% of your registration fee goes to DSA, less the cost of the race shirt and medal, plus shipping. We are leaving the shirt selection optional. If you would like a shirt, please select a size. If you have a closet full of race shirts and do not want another, leave the size selection blank and you will not be sent a shirt or medal. The price of the Virtual race is $30 for the 10K and the 5K. The One Mile BOO Run is $10. Shirts and medals will be sent out after the race.
