About the event
13th Annual. This is a fun trail-running event with something for everybody. There's a 5K that's perfect for first-time trailrunners. The 10K is fun, but challenging. The Half-marathon is a multi-loop course of awesomeness!
The course is slightly hilly and softer than pavement.
The race start is just inside of the Clinton State Park Entrance...look for the Trail Nerd Flags and yellow “Trail Race” signs to lead you there. There's a $5 fee for entering the park.
To get there, set your GPS for: 798 N 1415 Road, Lawrence, Kansas
Race Day Packet Pickup (only) will be starting at 7:30 AM, AT THE RACE, ON RACE MORNING.
And yes, there is race-day late registration.

All online entrants prior to Sep 10 get a nice event shirt. We have previous years' shirts for those who register late...first come, first serve.
All photos (by Mile 90 Photography) will be free and downloadable.
All Half-Marathon finishers get a large, uniquely-designed finisher's medal.
All 10K finishers also get a big medal.
All finishers get a distance-specific oval sticker.
It Could Be Hot Out There!
There will be plenty of (water) aid along the course, but we encourage (for your own safety) that you carry a water bottle or hydration system with you. It may take you longer than you think to get to the next water stop.
Sorry, no canines allowed in this event (due to the heat).
