American Row House and GUTS invite you and your crew to a "Friday Night Rowdown." Join us on Friday, November 10 as we row for fun and really sweet prizes! Not ready for rowing? You can still join us as a virtual rower! Don't have a team to join? Choose "I Need a Team" as your team name and we'll set you up! Registration is just $15 per person and you can make additional donations if desired.

One prize will be given to the team that rows the most total meters for each wave and one random prize will be drawn for each wave.

Before, after and between waves, we'll have craft beer, wine and light bites provided by Piastra - located on the square.

100 percent of proceeds go to the Cobb Family. Ryan and Carol Cobb have been an integral part of the GUTS organization for years, as race directors and frequent and significant volunteers, as well as participants in events. Ryan is a member of the American Row House. Carol was a friend to anyone who met her and was well known for her beautiful smile, super hugs, and tremendous positivity. She was an amazingly strong, brave and wonderful woman. She recently lost her battle with cancer and this event will raise proceeds to help the family with pending medical bills.

Lowdown on the Rowdown

Teams will compete for the most meters rowed within 45 minutes. Teams can be comprised of any number of members. The first team member to register should create the team name and then other members will be able to select the team name from the team dropdown while registering.

Each team will use 1 row "station" and will alternate team members. It is up to each team to determine the order and duration for each team member. There is no limit to how many times (or how long) a team member rows, so long as it's within the 45 minutes.
There are 12 row "stations" available, so 12 teams will compete during each time slot. When registering, please choose your preferred time slot. Time slots will be assigned on a first come/first served basis. Once confirmed, we will send the team confirmation of their time slot.
The American Row House will open around 5pm for new rowers to try out the rowing machines and to warmup for the rowdown!
