Terrain
This trail has been voted in Texas Highways Magazine as one of the 10 most scenic trails in all of Texas. The course consists mostly of rolling single track with minimal service road, while meandering through oak/pine forest and large open meadows. There are a few small streams to navigate if there has been rain, and an occasional vista of Inks Lake or Falkenstein Castle. The trail can be technical and windy in spots, which is particularly demanding at night. It is one of my favorite places in all of Texas andand is a great place to end our trail series. Enjoy!
