50s' For Yo Momma

20505 Riegel Rd

Circleville, OH 50 Miler, 50K

This Event Took Place Sat. May 7, 2011

50s For Yo Momma is an ultra trail run at Hargus Lake in Circleville, OH. The 25k, 50k and 50 Mile races are ran entirely on the trails at A.W. Marion State Park. This event began in 2011, so this year we will be celebrating five years!

The Course

Our course is entirely on trails, with lots of roots and rocks, a handful of creek crossings, some rolling hills and a few short but steep climbs. The trails are well-groomed, with no briars or brambles to speak of. In 2014 we added a few new sections of gorgeous single-track to our already awesome course. What does this mean for you? Less loops, more climbing and more beautiful views!

50 Milers- You will be running an 8.7 mile loop. You will complete 6 loops for a total of 52.2 miles.

25k & 50k runners- You will be running an 8.2 mile loop. 50k runners will complete 4 loops for a total of 32.8 miles. 25k'ers will run 2 loops for a total of 16.4 miles.

The courses are identical with the exception of a .50 mile section added in for the 50 milers.

Yes, you will be running slightly over your listed mileage. There is no additional charge for those extra miles. You're welcome!

This is a spring trail race in Ohio. Plan to be at the mercy of Mother Nature. We typically have some mud!

Dropping & DQ Policy

DROPPING You MUST report to one of the RDs (Rob and Angie Carroll) if you wish to drop from the race. Please DO NOT leave the course without letting us know! This is for your safety! DISQUALIFICATION POLICY There is a 14-hour cutoff for all races. You must begin your last loop by 5:30pm. Please respect all volunteers, runners, the park, other folks on the trails and the RDs or we will make fun of you mercilessly and DQ you :) If we determine a runner has cut the course for any reason they will be DQ'd and receive a DNF in race results.

Family, Friends & Crews

Please bring your family, friends and crews to support and encourage you! The best part of a loop course is that you get so many opportunities to experience and appreciate that support! We love to see all the supporters spending their day with us! Family, friends and crews can park in the main lot at the Start/Finish area, and should feel free to set-up pop-up tents and spend the day with us. There is plenty of green space near the start/finish.
