WELCOME TO 2022 CIRQUE DU GRIFFITH PARK

We know you have many races to choose from and we thank you for supporting this amazing event in beautiful Griffith Park. Whether you're a "newbie" running your first ultra, a 100-mile hopeful or a competative pro, we promise to give you a safe and professional race experience. Trail Run Events brings you 20-years of awesome races in beautiful places and Cirque is our crowning glory!

This event is not able to guarantee a permit for June due to covid restrictions. We have set the new date for September 3 & 4 which is also Labor Day Weekend and will give you an extra recovery day before returning to work. Your registration is an RSVP and your credit card will not be charged until we secure a permit.

ROLLOVERS

Runners who paid in 2020 or 2021 will be offered rollover to the 2022 event. The amount of rollover will be the amount you previously paid for your event. You do not need a coupon code; just use the same email you used before and your 100% credit paid will be applied at checkout. FYI, there is an up charge for 2022 due to increases in permit and monitoring fees.

The race will likely have a cap on the number of participants and no priority will be given to previously registered runners so please ACT NOW to guarantee your entry.

  • One aid station stocked with water, ice, soup and coffee at night. Due to covid restrictions, runners will need to provide their own water, drinks and food.

  • Activities for your non-running friends and family - LA Zoo, Griffith Park Pony Rides & Carousel, hiking, cycling, Hollywood Sign, Golf, Travel Town, Autrey Museum. Close to Hollywood and Griffith Park Observatory.


    Start and Finish Times

    This 100-mile event begins at 8:00am on Saturday and ends at 1:00pm on Sunday. 30-Hours to complete your 100!

    Registration Info

  • Pre-registration is online only. We do not accept mail-in registration.
  • Race day registration is available until 15 minutes before the event start time.
  • Shirts and shirt sizes are not guaranteed for runners who register after May 1.
  • Race management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, for any reason.
  • Runners must be at least 18 y/o to run the race.
  • Online registration will generate an email to you. Please check your SPAM folder if your email does not arrive.

    **Due to the cost of permit fees, we will not be able to issue comp entries for this event.

    Pacers, Crews, Etc.

    You may set up a 10x10 shade cover on the lawn adjacent to the race course. Due to covid, we may need to restrict the number of pacers/crew per runner. We will update when we have more informtion.

    Run For Dawg Squad

    The Dawg Squad is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation established according to California laws for public benefit. They provide medical attention, training, rehabilitation, loving foster and permanent homes for at-risk animals who are homeless or have been abandoned and are in need of medical care. The have proudly rescued and placed over 1,800 animals in loving homes!

    Trail Run Events is optimistic that this event will happen in 2022. However, it is important that we all understand and agree that everything is fluid and unforeseen challenges and changes may happen in the future.

    Trail Run Events is constantly monitoring, educating and interacting with our local, state and national health care officials, permit holders and venue property owners regarding COVID19, wild land fires and Safe Trail Running and Racing.

    With the current social, medical and legal instabilities, it is impossible to guarantee that this event will happen as planned.

    Trail Run Events will conduct this event only if safe and legal as described by the CDC, state and local authorities.

    Trail Run Events, CA State Parks, MRCA and the venue property owners reserve the right to amend and or cancel this event at anytime.

    ​TRAIL RUN EVENTS has a strict NO REFUND POLICY. In addition to no refunds, there are no bib transfers or deferrals to another year. In the past, exceptions have been made to this rule however this does not imply or guarantee the same will happen in the future.
