Description
TRED's 6-Hour Trail Run will be held at the Historic Jackson Hill in downtown Rome, GA. Hotels/restaurants and coffee within minutes of course. Categories will include solo, 2-person and 3-person teams including male, female and co-ed divisions. Course is a challenging single track 2.5 mile loop. All racers will be chip timed and live reports and standings scrolling throughout the race. All proceeds re-invested into Rome/Floyd County's trail network supported by TRED.
The Jackson Hill Challenge is a six hour solo and team race set in downtown Rome GA. Jackson Hill’s network of trails will provide a challenging 2.54 mile loop of single track and groomed trails with roughly 300 ft of elevation gain per loop. Solo runners and teams of two and three will attempt to complete as many loops as possible in the 6 hours. The start and finish line at the Rome Civic Center will have the only aid station for runners and will be the exchange zone for the teams.
