Are you ready to take on The Slam?!!
The Huntsville Slam is an annual event that is put on by the Huntsville Track Club and sponsored by Fleet Feet of Huntsville
It consists of completing four specific Huntsville Track Club races that all take place on the trails and roads in Huntsville, AL. You must SIGN UP and complete each race within that race's designated time limits.
The races, in order, include the following:
Dizzy Fifties 50k on November 18, 2023,
Rocket City - Full Marathon on December 10, 2023,
Recover From The Holidays 50k on December 31, 2023, and last, but by no means least,
Mountain Mist 50k on January 27, 20234.
It is recommended that you sign up for all four races before signing up for The Huntsville Slam. If you are NOT REGISTERED for EACH RACE you will not complete the slam!!! REGISTRATION CLOSES December 7 AND NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Your finish time will be verified after each of the races to ensure you remain qualified to receive the Huntsville Slam Jacket at the end of Mountain Mist.
The cost is non-refundable. This means that you will not be able to get a refund if you do not complete all four races for any reason (including failure to sign up or race being full).
You will receive an embroidered jacket after completing Mountain Mist. They will be located at The Lodge with the Mountain Mist finisher plaques. You need to let the volunteers know that you are on the Huntsville Slam list and they will give you the jacket. In order to receive your finisher's jacket, please have identification ready. Please do not be offended if asked – we just don’t want anyone to take a jacket that did not sign up.
