    The locals put on a race here in August, too, that also includes a 100 miler. These are the guys that spend 100s of hours every year to maintain the trail, and also put on a mountain bike race. I'm not affiliated with them, but I'm a big fan of locally organized races and think they deserve attention if you are interested in the ND badlands: http://www.experienceland.org/maah-daah-hey-trail-run/

      Justin, I am familiar with Nick and the awesome work that happens on the MDH prior to his mountain bike race. I believe he has taken over the Medora/ Badlands trail race that usually happened in June. I wish him luck!
