About Collin

Collin Kiousis is a very active freshman at the University of Akron majoring in Environmental and Research Science. Just a year ago his life changed dramatically. He is now battling the toughest fight of his young life. He was diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei carcinoma/colon cancer (the club you don’t want to belong too). Collins positive attitude won’t let him be defeated. He will beat this. Collin would like to have you join him in his second annual 5k. The proceeds of the race this year will help community members fighting cancer and go towards cancer research. Collin’s ultimate goal is for no one else to be dealt the hand that he has been dealt.
