Sufferfest

Two Days of Fat Asses on Colorado’s Western Slope. A great way to provide yourself with a final test before the final Fat Ass of the season. This event was deigned to challenge runners over one, or two, days on the warmer Western Slope while promoting community with a campout! Come run one day, both days, or just come to camp!

Day 1: Colorado National Monument
Date: Saturday, March 4, 2017
Time: 8:00am
Place: Monument Canyon Trailhead
Distance: 37 Miles with 5,500' of Gain and 5,500' of Loss



Saturday Night Lodging: We’ll be group camping near the Colorado/Utah Border in a disperse camping area on Bureau of Land Management Land known as Rabbit Valley. Camping is 100% FREE. You must bring all of your own gear which includes necessities for warmth. Dinner is pot-luck and we encourage all runners to bring a meal to share with your community. HPRS will bring canopies and stoves for all to share/use. There is NO water at this location, please bring your own water for the weekend!

Date: Sunday, March 5, 2017
Time: 8:00am
Place: Hawkeye Frontage Road
Distance: 31 Miles with 6,500' of Gain and 6,500' of Loss
