Race Shirt Cutoff - 11/8

The shirt order absolutely must go in on the 8th. Please register early to insure getting one of these really cool shirts. Additional Long Sleeve Tech shirts and 100% Poly Hoodies with the look and feel of cotton will also go off sale on the 8th.

Blood Rock 100 & 50 Mile - 50 & 25K
The Blood Rock Races will take place at Oak Mountain State Park. All races will start and end at the Redbud Pavilion. The Cabins at Oak Mtn State Park are located 600 yards from the start at Redbud. The Cabins are also on the course at mile 24.5. They must be reserved through Oak Mtn. State Park. There is a two night minimum and additional nights may be rented through the park. The 100 and 50 Mile races will start Friday, Nov 22nd at 12:00 Noon. The 100 will have a 44 hour cutoff, ending Sunday, Nov 24th at 8:00 AM. The 50 Mile will have an alternative start Saturday morning, Nov 23rd at 8:00AM along with the 25 and 50K. The cutoff for the 50 mile starting Saturday is 22 hours, ending at 6:00 AM Sunday, Nov 24th.
Blood Rock 100 Mile
Blood Rock 100 is a Mountain High Outfitters Southeastern Trail Runs race. The race will take place at Oak Mountain State Park, starting and ending at the Redbud Pavilion. The 100 Mile Race will start at 12:00 PM, Friday, November 22nd. Aid stations distances range from 3 to 8 miles apart.
The Cutoff for the 100 Mile Race will be 44 Hours. Starting at Mile 50 we will enforce mandatory cutoffs at all aid stations for runners on the second loop of the race. All Runners may have pacers starting at mile 50.
The Blood Rock 50 Mile
The Blood Rock 50 mile race will take place at Oak Mountain State Park, starting and ending at Redbud Pavilion. The race will start at 12:00 Noon, Friday, Nov 22nd. Alternative start will be 8:00 AM, Saturday, November 23rd. The course will be a single 50 Mile Loop. About 20 miles of the 50 will be on very difficult backcountry trails with some of the steepest climbs in the southeast. The Cutoff for the Friday Start is 12:00 Noon Saturday, Nov 23rd, (24 hours.) The Cutoff for the Saturday Start will be 6:00 AM Sunday Nov 24rd, (22 Hours.) 50 Mile Runners my NOT have pacers.
Friday, Nov 22nd – 10:00 to 11:30 AM - Packet Pickup for 100 and 50 Mile Races at the Redbud Pavilion.
There will be NO Late Registration on Friday or Saturday for Blood Rock Races. All registrations close Monday Nov 18th.
Friday Nov 22th – 11:40 AM – Pre-race Briefing at the Redbud Pavilion. The pre-race meeting is mandatory for 100 and 50 Mile Runners. Drop Bags for 50 and 100 mile runners may be left a Redbud before the start.
Friday Nov 22 – 12:00 Noon – Start of the 100 Mile and 50 Mile Trail Races.
Saturday, Nov 23rd – 6:00 to 7:40 AM - Packet Pickup and mandatory check-in for all runners starting Saturday morning.
Saturday, Nov 23rd – 7:40 AM - Race briefing for 25 & 50K runners and 50 mile runners starting Saturday morning.
Saturday, Nov 23rd – 8:00 AM - Start of the 25 and 50K and alternative start for the 50 Mile Race.
Sunday, Nov24th - 8:00 AM - Blood Rock 100 Course Closes.
Mandatory Cutoffs must be strictly enforced. This is a requirement by the OMSP Director.
Refunds and Credits
We offer full refunds available through Ultrasignup up to 30 days before the race. You may also roll your entry over until the next year. After that date we simply cannot give refunds. You may contact us directly and we will be happy to rollover your entry until the next year or give you full credit that can be applied to any STR race in the next year. Please contact us at the latest, two or three days before the race if you will not be able to make the race and would like a credit.

In the event the race must be cancelled as the result of events beyond our control, (forest fires or park closure are the most likely potential cause of cancellation of our races at OMSP) we will give a full refund up to 30 days prior to the event. After that, your entry will automatically be rolled over to the next year.
