Welcome to Major Tom’s Run the Dairy with your Human and, to the world of Canicross!

This is a race for dogs by dogs.

Major Tom cordially invites you to join him at his favorite stomping grounds and run like a crazy, slobbering, happy dog through the woods, fields and marshes…occasionally stopping, to sniff and pee on something and then, run again!

This is a race that it is open to dog walkers and dog runners alike. At the start of the race we ask for dog racers to step to the front of the line and the dog walkers to go to the back of the pack.

This is the first canicross race in Savannah! This is a sport where the rewards are so amazing...you and your dog will have a bonding experience like no other! You and your dog are racing as a team, -with you leading from the rear and your dog leading the way! If you want to learn more about canicross check out this link: canicross

Trophies will be given to the top three fastest dog/human teams! Dog winners will get a bag of treats and toys.
Medals will be given to all finishers whether running or walking.

As customary with all Rough Runners races 20% of the proceeds go to charity.

This is the trail race where dog’s rule!

All dogs must be leashed during the race with their human holding onto the leash. You will be disqualified and asked to leave if your dog is off leash during the race.
